In the spree of providing various talent platforms for differently abled, Narayan Seva Sansthan is set to organise Tournament
Udaipur. Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS) with its unique initiative of promoting talents of differently abled is hosting National Blind Cricket tournament in association with Cricket Association for the blind in India and Rajasthan Cricket Association for the blind from 30 November to 3rd December 2019 in Udaipur. Before the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, 6 teams from States like Rajasthan, Gujrat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and West Bengal. Remarkable to note is that the tournament will be played in T20 format where people of Udaipur will encounter one-of-its-kind tussle between these highly spirited sportsmen.
Tournament will begin with first game played on MB Ground and following games on Narayan Divyang Sports Academy, Udaipur starting 9 am in the morning between 30th November to 3rd December, 2019. According to the National health portal of India for visually impaired, around 253 million people are visually impaired in India, 36 million are completely blind, and 217 million fall under moderate-to-severe visual impairment.
Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “We are committed to bring differently abled to mainstream of society by providing them different platforms to showcase their talents. The aim behind this is to boost confidence and repair any feeling of self-doubt. We believe this can only happen when one gets a chance. For which, we are organising fashion shows, different talent shows, sporting events, etc. I wish these confident individuals grow their competencies and earn name for them in future.”
